Because when you choose awesome wedding vendors, your wedding is guaranteed to be much awesome-er by oodles of miles!
You really can’t go past the fantastic crew at Sassy Celebrants. There are 8 fantastic celebrants to choose from, and they each will make your ceremony about you. Also, they’re basically all just freaking hilarious. Go book one of them now!! In particular, I have worked with, and adore, Wed By Kez, Nell Dark-Jones and Jules Amidy
Black Creek Farm and Leaves and Fishes are two of my all-time favourites. The team are exceptional service providers and I cannot gush enough about their attention to detail, friendliness and relaxed but efficient approach. And OMG the food is just…. sigh. I still dream about the house-made butter.
The Lockup must be one of the quirkiest venues, and it’s right in the heart of Newcastle. A former prison, it’s now a cultural centre and exhibition space, and it’s a gorgeous venue for intimate weddings. You can see some of my images from weddings on their page.
Albion Farm Gardens at Woodville is one of the most glorious gardens in the Hunter Valley. With a variety of settings for ceremonies, and endless locations for photos, the team are fantastic and will go out of their way to make your wedding day amazing. Team it with a reception at the Woodville School of Arts Hall immediately across the road, and you’ll have hit peak wedding.
Tillermans cafe restaurant in Tea Gardens is a gorgeous venue for weddings… actually you should just go there and eat all the time anyway.
I’ve rarely seen a band energise a wedding crowd like The Mark Wells Band does. They bring hilarity to the floor, and sometimes bagpipes.
As for DJs, you can’t go past the team at XYDJ.
Michelle of Desertborn Flowers. Can’t even tell you how much I adore her work. Stunning floral artistry and loads of fun to work with.
